About Cindy

Cindy’s decades of real-world management experience gave her a critical insight about herself early on: that nothing is more meaningful and fulfilling than mentoring and coaching others on their journey up (or even off) the corporate ladder. In fact, one of Cindy’s passions is supporting young people in finding the right path for them, whether that means helping them discover their dream job, or helping them see that they’re on the wrong road altogether.

It was her experience in the trenches and her commitment to mentoring others that led her to found Manage Fearlessly. A venture that allows her to help others realize what she did so many years ago- that managing, coaching and mentoring others and doing it well, is the most rewarding job you will ever have.

Before founding Manage Fearlessly, Cindy spent over 30 years at Bank of America and its predecessor organizations, where she held a series of positions of increasing responsibility. She has also served as the Global Commercial Banking Executive for the Bank's Mid-Atlantic Region. She cut her entrepreneurial teeth in tandem with her former partner, Laura Gamble, at their previous company, Skipjack Partners LLC, a consultancy that advised Entrepreneurs and Businesses on issues of capital, strategy, organization and management.

Cindy received her BS and MBA degrees from the University of Maryland, RH Smith School of Business, and completed her undergraduate degree summa cum laude with a focus in Human Resource Management. She served as President of the Alumni Association from 2002 to 2003 and currently remains on their Finance Committee.

Always involved in the business community and passionate about advancing social missions, Cindy currently serves on the Board of Directors for Argan, Inc. (AGX). the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County, and the Maryland Underground Facilities Damage Prevention Authority.

She juggles her time between nurturing Manage Fearlessly, her board work, her family and finding balance through yoga and reading.

Cindy’s dead-on insight along with her straight-forward and honest approach, have earned her the reputation of being somewhat like a sock with a roll of quarters inside. Warm and soft when it comes

to supporting people, yet able to whack them on the side of the head when they need it.
